The North Coast Resource Center
The North Coast Resource Center (NCRC) is a 501(c)(3) public benefit not-for-profit and a United Way agency. Previously Arcata Endeavor, NCRC has served the poor in the City of Arcata and surrounding communities for over 33 years. Since 1999 NCRC has provided supportive and essential services from its present location at the Arcata Service Center (ASC). Services have expanded substantially in response to the needs of the poor among the local community. In the 2000 census it was recorded that 32.3% of the city population subsists below the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
